If you are 16 and want to take the test for your permit, you can come to the College and Career Center.  We have study books in English and Spanish.  You can only come during your lunch, study hall or with permission in writing from your teacher.

ACCES-VR assists individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living through training, education, rehabilitation, and career development.  While in high school, ACCES-VR helps students with career exploration and post high school planning.  For more information please stop by the College and Career Center.  To apply, click here.

Our English Language Institute (ELI) offers FREE Beginner, Intermediate, and Contextualized English classes in Health and Business. These classes are open to the community, and you do not need to be an OCC student to participate. They help create a pathway to credit?bearing coursework and provide drop?in support for current OCC English Language Learners.
To help you start at the level that’s right for you, take a free ELI English Language Assessment in our OCC’s Testing Services office. The exam is proctored in person and offered on a rolling basis throughout the year and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
