Important Schedule Update: Heat Advisory Half Days

With the impending forecast that includes extremely high temperatures next week, the Syracuse City School District has decided to implement three half days next week for students and faculty at its elementary, middle, and Pre-K-8 schools on Tuesday, June 18th, Thursday, June 20th, and Friday, June 21st. Students will be dismissed at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm on those days, based on school start times. For questions about the half day schedule, please contact your child's school directly.

Understanding that all high schools have access to air-conditioned environments, all high school Regents examinations and scoring will happen as scheduled. Therefore, high school students and staff will follow the normal planned schedule for those days.

All schools will be closed on Wednesday, June 19^th due to the observance of Juneteenth.
