School News
School hours for the 2024-2025 school year are
7:25am - 1:55pm.
The After School Program will begin on
September 30th. The hours are 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
We cannot wait to see our students
on Wednesday, September 4th.
We want all of our students to have 90% or
above attendance this school year. Student
become chronically absent when they miss 18
or more days of school.
Please make sure to review your Oasis Academy Parent
Handbook below under the documents.

Families please make sure your contact information (address, phone, and e-mail) is updated and current, so you can keep up with all news and important information.
Register for Sports on Family ID Grades 6-8
1. Go to familyid.com
2. Click on Get Started Now button.
3. Fill out form and click create account. Be sure to write your password down
4. Activate account by checking your email. Click on the email from FamilyID then click email link to FamilyID.
5. Type Syracuse City School District in the search box, then click find. Click on SCSD or Henninger High School and the current season (Fall, Winter, Spring) and the year.
6. Click Register now. Scroll down until you see the team your student wants to participate in.
7. Click on team, scroll down and fill out form and answer all questions

The SCSD has many academic, social, emotional and mental health supports available to students. School social workers can help connect you and your child to in school and/or out of school supports that meet your needs.
