Spirit Week -February 10th - 14th

Monday, 2/10 Black Solidarity Day Wear all black to represent unity!
Tuesday, 2/11 Decades Day! Pick a decade and dress appropriately. 
Wednesday, 2/12 HBCU Day Represent your favorite HBCU or wear a shirt that promotes positivity
Thursday, 2/13 Culture Day Wear clothing that represents your culture
Friday, 2/14 The Love Movement Spread love by wearing pink, red, white, or purple



 

Black History Month Speakers Series & Bingo

Featuring guest speakers from a variety of industries!
Learn & Earn with Bingo:
Students can increase their chances of winning prizes by attending more than one session. Pick up a Speaker Series Bingo Card in the library, main office, or room 123. Final drawing will take place on February 28th! Click here or scan flyer QR to sign up for sessions and for specific times.

Visit the library to check out books from the Black History Month display. Celebrating books by Black authors, featuring Black characters, or about the historical Black experience. Some favorite Black YA authors to check out include Lamar Giles, Tiffany D. Jackson, Kwame Alexander, Angie Thomas, Walter Dean Myers, Jason Reynolds, Justina Ireland, Ibi Zoboi, Awaeke Emezi, and Nic Stone!
