Dear Delaware Dolphin Wonderful Families, 

As we get close to the holiday season, I want to say thank you for everything you do to support your children. Your help at home—reading with them, checking homework, and talking about school—makes a big difference. We appreciate all the ways you work with us to help your child learn and grow.

I also want to thank you for helping improve student attendance. Because of your efforts, many of our students are becoming Attendance H.E.R.O.s: Here, Every day, Ready, and On time. When students come to school every day and on time, they learn more, feel more confident, and build strong habits. Thank you for helping your child be an attendance hero.

We are so grateful to have you as partners in your child’s education. By working together, we can create a school that is safe, welcoming, and supportive for every student. We will continue to work side by side to make sure your child has the best learning environment possible.

As we head into the holiday break, I want to wish all of our families a safe, happy, and restful holiday season, and a wonderful New Year. I hope you enjoy time with family and friends, and return refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
